MUSIC MIDTOWN: Festival Branding
The challenge that was presented in this project was to create a branding language for a music festival. This project includes print and digital media, as well as a merchandise mockup. Though only four elements of this project are showcased, there were over ten elements completed for inclusion in this challenge. I began my research with the city of Atlanta, where the festival is held. The festival highlights Atlanta’s Ferris wheel, which can be seen from anywhere in throughout the festival. I began sketching Ferris wheels and pulling from Atlanta street art to create the logo for Music Midtown. Once I had created the logo, I decided to expand upon the circle concept which led to the creation of the bubble pattern which is repeated throughout the language.
